Brampton Junior Trail Run

We're excited to hold our second Brampton Junior Trail Run!

Following part of the standard route, this trail run has all the characteristics of our adult's event - stunning scenery, a fantastic course, some challenging hills and a bit of mud!

This race will take place at 10am, before the adult's race. Open for ages 9 - 15 with age category prizes (subject to entries) and bespoke medals for all finishers.

Date: Sunday 4th January 2026

Distance: 1.8 miles / 2.9km

Location: The Sands, Brampton, CA8 1EH

Entry Prices: £11.50 (£2 discount for UKA Affiliated Runners)

Registration: 9am - 9.45am on race day.

Race Safety Briefing: 9.50am in front of Fellside Events gazebo

Race Start: 10am

Facilities: Toilets at start / finish, water station at finish, refreshment van at start / finish

Course: Our run is located on the edge of Brampton and is a fantastic route with stunning views and a mixture of terrain. There is one minor road crossing at the start and finish of the race, the rest of the course is off-road. We suggest you wear your trail shoes. The course will be marked with arrows and there will be sufficient marshals on the course to maintain line of sight of the junior runners at all times. A tail runner will sweep the course.

Race Permit: Issued by the Trail Running Association permit no pending. This race will be held in accordance with UK Athletics rules. You must be aged 9 - 15 to take part.

Prizes will be awarded to the first three male and female finishers in the following age categories (subject to entries): 9 - 10, 11 - 13, 14 - 15.
